WEEK 1- FA Traditional Food Plan

I lost 2.2 lbs this week. I wasn't perfect on the food plan, but I guess enough to lose a few pounds. My average kcal intake was 1100 with 43% carbohydrate, 25% protein,  and 32% fat. My fiber intake was 20g.  My typical dinner is pictured below with an abundant amount of veggies. The FA food plan was created by a medical doctor for some obese patients. However, the food plan has been commercialized by Susan Peirce Thompson who created Brightline Eating. She was a member of FA for over twenty years and decided to create a business. Many others have also commercialized this food plan. It works especially if you find a sponsor, attend meetings, and utilize the 12-steps.
