WEEK 3- Ketogenic Diet
I'm nut sure what the craze is al about. This food plan doesn't seem balanced. This diet was created treat epilepsy for children. It requires 70-80% fat, 5-10% carbohydrate, and 20-25% protein. I'm sure most people who follow this food plan are not doing it exactly. It is really difficult to get 70-80% fat. I have been trying for 70% fat, but my average is around 63%. My food plan consists of the following:
Breakfast
2 keto egg muffins
1/2 avocado
2oz cheese
Lunch
2oz cauliflower rice
4oz halibut
4oz salad
1Tb blush wine vinaigrette with xylitol instead of sugar
Dinner
Tofu Zucchini Lasagna
4oz salad
1 slice keto cheesecake
Breakfast
